VINSSEN leads engineering of the hydrogen fuel cell propulsion and integrated battery energy storage, while KRE handles base performance and layout. The hybrid architecture uses stored battery energy for low-load operations and to supplement fuel-cell output during peak demand, providing a scalable port-operation solution designed to meet current and anticipated environmental requirements and support diesel-to-hydrogen conversions.
