The government revised December 2024's industrial growth figure from 3.2% to 3.5%. The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) showed a 4.2% rise in January 2024. Manufacturing output grew by 5.5% in January 2025, compared to 3.6% the previous year. However, mining production growth decreased to 4.4% from 6%, and power output growth slowed to 2.4% from 5.6%. The IIP grew 4.2% from April to January, down from 6% the previous year.
