A new component, Pashu Aushadhi, will provide these medicines through PM Kisan Samridhi Kendras and Cooperatives, similar to the Jan Aushadi scheme. The initiative also aims to revive and document traditional veterinary medicine knowledge. Rs 75 crore has been allocated for supplying these medicines and incentivizing their sale under the Pashu Aushadhi component.
