<h1>Shiv Sena (UBT) Nominates Bhaskar Jadhav for Leader of Opposition Role in Maharashtra Assembly Amid NCP's Rotational Proposal</h1> The Shiv Sena (UBT) has claimed the Leader of Opposition (LoP) position in the Maharashtra assembly, nominating senior MLA Bhaskar Jadhav for this cabinet-level role. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray submitted a letter to Speaker Rahul Narwekar, urging a decision before the budget session ends on March 26. Jadhav, previously with the united Shiv Sena and the undivided NCP, rejoined Shiv Sena in 2019. Thackeray emphasized there will be no rotation of the LoP post if secured by his party, which leads the opposition with 20 MLAs.
