<h1>Jammu & Kashmir Faces 32,474 Government Job Vacancies; Health Dept Leads with 7,851 Vacant Posts</h1> Over 32,000 positions remain unfilled across 37 departments in the Jammu and Kashmir government, with the health and medical education department having the highest number of vacancies at 7,851. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board and the Public Service Commission are addressing 3,727 vacancies since the current government's formation. As of January 31, there are 32,474 vacant posts, including gazetted, non-gazetted, and multi-tasking staff roles. The Chief Minister reported that significant vacancies exist in various departments, while the Department of Disaster Management has no vacancies. Application fees collected by JKPSC and JKSSB since October 16 total over Rs 14 crore.
