<h1>Rajasthan Boosts Welfare Schemes: Budget Increases for SC/ST, Scholarships, Scooty Distribution, and Free Coaching Initiatives</h1> The Rajasthan government is implementing various welfare schemes to integrate Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women, differently-abled, and nomadic tribes into the mainstream. The budget for SC/ST sub-plans for 2025-26 is increased to Rs 1750 crore. Rs 1,110 crore is allocated for the 'Palnahar Scheme' for orphaned children, and Rs 774.54 crore for the 'Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.' The 'Chief Minister Divyang Scooty Scheme' will distribute 2,000 scooties to eligible differently-abled individuals. The 'Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme' will provide free coaching to 30,000 students with a budget of Rs 108 crore. The grant demand for the department was approved by the Assembly. Additionally, the Jal Jeevan Mission deadline is extended to 2028, with ongoing issues in the Ratangarh-Sujangarh water project.
