<h1>Protection officers under Domestic Violence law to be appointed statewide to assist magistrates and secure medical and monetary relief.</h1> A dedicated cadre of full-time Protection Officers will be appointed at sub-division, district and state levels to assist the magistrate, arrange and forward medical examination reports when bodily injury is alleged, coordinate with police and magistracy, and ensure compliance and execution of orders for monetary relief under the statutory domestic violence framework. The measure includes expansion of One Stop Centres to provide integrated medical, legal and psychosocial support to women affected by violence.
