This rate was consistent with the previous quarter but showed a slight decline from 6.5% in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Female unemployment in urban areas dropped to 8.1% from 8.6% a year ago, while male unemployment remained stable at 5.8%. The labor force participation rate increased to 50.4%. The Worker Population Ratio for males rose from 69.8% to 70.9% over the same period.
