The Union Culture Minister reported to Parliament that pathways, parking, gardens, and public amenities are being developed. Archaeological excavations were conducted in 2021-22, with a photo exhibition of the findings currently on display. The Union Budget 2020-21 included plans to develop Hastinapur as an iconic site with an on-site museum, highlighting its mythological significance as a pilgrimage and cultural heritage location.
