President Murmu highlighted a record foodgrain production of 322 million tonnes in 2023-24 and the distribution of Rs 41,000 crore to farmers under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Initiatives include the approval of Tribuvan Sahakai University, a National Mission on Oilseeds, and an expanded agri-infrastructure fund. The government has increased the Minimum Support Price for crops and introduced high-yield seed varieties.
