Initiatives include the approval of Tribuvan Sahakai University, a National Mission on Oilseeds, and an expanded agri-infrastructure fund. The government has increased the Minimum Support Price for crops and introduced high-yield seed varieties. Efforts also include promoting aquaculture and launching Mission Mausam with a Rs 2,000-crore budget.
