<h1>National Conference on Aftercare Services Highlights Need for Support for Youth Exiting Institutional Care</h1> Ahvaan: A Call to Action, a national conference on aftercare services, was organized by Catalysts for Social Action (CSA) in collaboration with A Future for Every Child (AFEC) and UNICEF. The event in Mumbai gathered over 130 stakeholders, including government representatives and NGOs, to discuss support for young adults transitioning out of institutional care. The conference highlighted the importance of aftercare services, which many care leavers are unaware of, posing risks like poverty and homelessness.
