The event was part of the 'Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave'. The facility will focus on manufacturing electronic power devices for sectors such as electric vehicles, energy storage, and green energy. This project aligns with the national vision to position India as a global semiconductor hub. Previously, a silicon carbide manufacturing unit by another company was initiated in September 2024.
