Vision IAS falsely claimed that 10 of the top 10 candidates in the 2020 Civil Services Exam were from its programs, selectively highlighting only one student's course details. In reality, the other nine candidates followed different courses, including test series and mock tests. The CCPA stressed the importance of full disclosure for informed consumer decisions and has penalized 23 coaching institutes a total of Rs 74.60 lakh for similar deceptive practices.
