This selection was made through a computerized randomization process for the 2024-25 financial year. Of these, 7,153 were provisionally selected, with 1,431 on a waiting list. The initiative aims to provide self-employment opportunities to educated and unemployed youth, with a focus on Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Extremely Backward Classes, women, youth, and minority communities. The scheme offers 50% as a grant and 50% as a loan at a 1% interest rate, fostering economic development and entrepreneurship in Bihar.
