PM Inaugurates 13-km Stretch of Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, Boosting Connectivity with India's First Elevated Station.
The Prime Minister of India inaugurated a 13-km section of the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, enhancing regional connectivity in the National Capital Region. Afcons executed a 3.5-km stretch of this section, which includes the New Ashok Nagar Station, the first elevated station in Delhi with interconnectivity to the Delhi Metro. The construction involved installing six steel bow-string spans, totaling 360 meters and weighing 2,900MT, over a congested area in East Delhi. Afcons is also working on another section of the corridor. The project is part of a larger effort to improve transportation infrastructure in the region.
