<h1>Cabinet Approves Railway Projects to Boost Connectivity, Cut Costs, and Reduce Emissions Across Three Indian States.</h1> The Cabinet approved three multitracking projects for Indian Railways to enhance connectivity, reduce logistics costs, and lower CO2 emissions. These projects, costing approximately Rs 7,927 crore, will cover 639 km across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, benefiting about 38 lakh people in 1,319 villages. The projects aim to ease congestion, facilitate economic growth, and promote tourism by improving access to religious and cultural sites. Additionally, they will generate significant employment and increase freight capacity by 51 MTPA, contributing to environmental goals by reducing emissions equivalent to planting 11 crore trees.
