<h1>India's Industrial Production Rebounds with 3.1% Growth in September; Manufacturing Leads with 3.9% Increase.</h1> India's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew by 3.1% in September 2024, recovering from a 0.1% decline in August. The manufacturing sector saw a 3.9% increase, with notable contributions from the manufacture of electrical equipment (18.7%), coke and refined petroleum products (5.3%), and basic metals (2.5%). The mining and electricity sectors grew by 0.2% and 0.5%, respectively. Use-based classification showed growth in Intermediate Goods (4.2%), Consumer Durables (6.5%), and Primary Goods (1.8%). The overall IIP index rose to 146.7 from 142.3 in September 2023.
