Key initiatives include a credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs in manufacturing, development of a new credit assessment model by Public Sector Banks, and enhanced Mudra loans up to Rs. 20 lakh. The budget also proposes halving the turnover threshold for mandatory onboarding on the TReDS platform and establishing new SIDBI branches in MSME clusters. Additionally, financial support will be provided for food irradiation units and e-commerce export hubs to facilitate MSMEs' access to international markets.
