<h1>January 2024 GST Revenue Hits Rs. 1.72 Lakh Crore, Second-Highest Monthly Collection, with 10.4% Annual Growth.</h1> The gross GST revenue collected in January 2024 amounted to Rs. 1,72,129 crore, reflecting a 10.4% year-on-year increase from Rs. 1,55,922 crore in January 2023. This marks the second-highest monthly collection ever and the third instance in the fiscal year 2023-24 where collections surpassed Rs. 1.70 lakh crore. The government allocated Rs. 43,552 crore to the Central GST and Rs. 37,257 crore to the State GST from the Integrated GST collection. From April 2023 to January 2024, cumulative GST collections reached Rs. 16.69 lakh crore, indicating an 11.6% growth compared to the same period in the previous year.
