<h1>Government e-Marketplace Surpasses Rs. 2 Lakh Crore GMV in FY 2023-24, Boosted by Services and Small Enterprises.</h1> Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has achieved a milestone by surpassing Rs. 2 Lakh Crore in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) within less than eight months of FY 2023-24, with an average GMV of over Rs. 850 crore per day. Central Public Sector Enterprises contributed 83% of this value, while state governments contributed 17%. GeM's expansion into the services sector has significantly increased its order value, with services contributing 46% of total orders this year. The platform supports inclusivity, with 49% of orders awarded to micro and small enterprises. GeM's efforts have saved the government over Rs. 45,000 crore since 2016.
