<h1>DRI Seizes 1.698 kg Cocaine at IGI Airport; Two Kenyans Arrested Under NDPS Act, 1985.</h1> The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 1.698 kg of cocaine valued at approximately Rs. 17 crore at IGI Airport, New Delhi. A Kenyan passenger arriving from Nairobi was apprehended, and upon inspection, the cocaine was discovered in her luggage. She held a ticket to Mumbai, suggesting the drugs were to be delivered there. DRI officers arrested the intended recipient, also a Kenyan national, in Mumbai. Both individuals were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Between January and July 2023, DRI seized over 31 kg of cocaine and 96 kg of heroin in 42 operations nationwide.
