<h1>Competition law cooperation enables bilateral information exchange and capacity building to strengthen enforcement and consumer protection.</h1> Approval is granted for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Competition Commission of India and the Egyptian Competition Authority to enable information exchange, best practice sharing, technical cooperation and capacity building under Section 18 of the Competition Act, with the aim of strengthening enforcement capabilities and promoting consumer welfare.
