The initiative aims to enhance public procurement by involving Village Level Entrepreneurs and Post Office operators to assist last-mile buyers and sellers. Over 55% of GeM orders are from MSMEs, which are crucial to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The GeM platform is continuously evolving to improve efficiency and transparency, aligning with India's development goals for 2047. GeM Seller Samvaad events have facilitated interaction and feedback from sellers.
