<h1>Over 30 crore loans worth Rs. 15.97 lakh crore sanctioned under PMMY since 2015, boosting small businesses and jobs.</h1> Over 11.29 crore loans totaling Rs. 6.41 lakh crore were disbursed under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) across India during the fiscal years 2019-2021. Since the scheme's inception in April 2015, over 30 crore loans amounting to Rs. 15.97 lakh crore have been sanctioned. The PMMY provides institutional credit up to Rs. 10 lakh for micro and small business enterprises. A national survey indicated that PMMY generated 1.12 crore net additional jobs from 2015 to 2018, with the Shishu loan category accounting for 66% of the employment created. The government does not maintain data on loans extended to unemployed individuals.
