<h1>SPMCIL pays Rs. 215.48 crore dividend to Indian government, 41% of profit, meets production targets for 2019-20.</h1> The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a government-owned entity, paid a final dividend of Rs. 215.48 crore to the Government of India for the fiscal year 2019-20. This amount represents 5% of the company's net worth as of March 31, 2020, and 41% of its profit after tax for the same fiscal year, in line with DIPAM guidelines. SPMCIL successfully met its production targets for banknotes, coins, security paper, passports, and security inks. The company reported a revenue of Rs. 4,966 crore and a profit before tax of Rs. 1,026.79 crore, earning an excellent corporate governance rating for 2019-20.
