Imports for the same period were USD 89.31 billion, a 45.10% drop. In June 2020, merchandise exports were USD 21.91 billion, down 12.41% from June 2019, while imports fell 47.59% to USD 21.11 billion. The trade surplus for June 2020 was USD 0.79 billion, marking the first net export position for India in a decade. Overall trade surplus for April-June 2020-21 was USD 11.70 billion.
