<h1>CBDT and SEBI Sign MoU for Automatic Data Exchange to Enhance Cooperation and Legal Function Fulfillment.</h1> A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to facilitate automatic and regular data exchange. Signed by representatives from both organizations via video conference, the MoU enables sharing of information on request and proactively for fulfilling their legal functions. This initiative, effective immediately, aims to enhance cooperation and synergy between CBDT and SEBI. A Data Exchange Steering Group has been established to periodically review and improve the data sharing process.
