        As per Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) the number of subscribers in Atal Pension Yojana (APY) has increased during the last three years from 4,883,829 subscribers in FY 2016-17 to 15,418,285 subscribers in FY 2018-19. This was stated by Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs, in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today.

        Shri Thakur said that as informed by PFRDA, the State-wise details of subscribers under APY are available and the number of subscribers enrolled under APY in the State of Rajasthan as on 27th January, 2020, is  9, 47,104.

        Atal Pension Yojana subscriber growth highlights expanded enrolment and state-level reporting obligations under the pension regulatory framework. Atal Pension Yojana (APY) subscriber numbers rose from 4,883,829 in FY 2016-17 to 15,418,285 in FY 2018-19, demonstrating expanded enrolment and the maintenance of scheme-level subscription statistics; state-wise details are kept and Rajasthan's enrollment was reported as 947,104 as of 27 January 2020.
