<h1>DGFT Collaborates with States to Turn Districts into Export Hubs, Boosting Infrastructure and Market Access.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is working with Indian states and union territories to transform each district into an export hub, as outlined in the 2020-21 budget. This initiative aims to synergize efforts between central and state governments, creating institutional structures at the district level to develop District Export Plans (DEPs). A DGFT portal will facilitate information sharing on district export potentials. Various government departments and industry stakeholders will collaborate to enhance exports, focusing on logistics, infrastructure, and market access. Eleven states and union territories have established State Level Export Promotion Committees to support this vision.
