The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of up to 55.2% equity stake in GMR Airports Limited by TRIL Urban Transport Private Limited, Valkyrie Investment Pte. Ltd., and Solis Capital (Singapore) Pte. Limited. TRIL Urban Transport is a subsidiary of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, involved in urban transport development. Valkyrie is a foreign venture capital investor linked to GIC Private Limited, while Solis is an investment vehicle of the SSG group. GMR Airports, an investment holding company, manages airports globally. The approval is subject to modifications proposed by TRIL Urban Transport under specific regulatory guidelines.
