of <h1>SEBI Extends Deadline for Dematerialized Securities Transfer Requirement to April 1, 2019, Following Shareholder Requests for More Time.</h1> The Board had initially decided that, starting December 5, 2018, all requests for the transfer of securities must be processed only if the securities are held in dematerialized form, except for transmission or transposition cases. However, due to representations from shareholders requesting more time for compliance, SEBI has extended the deadline for this requirement to April 1, 2019.
