Officer -Trainees of 2016 Batch of the Indian Economic Service called upon Minister of State for Finance and Shipping, Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan in Ministry of Finance office today. The interaction covered a vast range of topics from learnings derived by the Officer-Trainees at various attachments they have undergone so far, and particularly, in the Shipping sector, to their experience of actual implementation of schemes and programmes at the State level and District level. Shri Radhakrishnan advised them to be ready to take any challenge that may arise in their career and wished them a bright and successful future in the Government.

The Officer-Trainees would be assigned their first posting to various Ministries/Departments towards the end of this month.

Civil service training interaction highlights attachment learnings and readiness for initial ministerial postings and administrative challenges. Interaction between Indian Economic Service Officer-Trainees and the Minister of State addressed learnings from attachments, practical experience in scheme implementation at state and district levels, and preparedness for initial postings to various Ministries and Departments; the Minister emphasised readiness for professional challenges and administrative adaptability.
