The corresponding rate for the previous day (March 14, 2017) was ₹ 66.1800.

Reference rate for US Dollar guides cross-currency rupee rates and determines the SDR Rupee conversion published by the Reserve Bank. The Reserve Bank publishes a daily Reference Rate for the US Dollar which serves as the official benchmark used with middle cross-currency rates to derive rupee exchange rates for other currencies; the SDR-Rupee rate is calculated on the basis of that published reference rate.
