<h1>Government to Launch STRIVE Program to Boost Vocational Training and Employment in 2017-18 with Rs. 2200 Crore Budget.</h1> The government plans to launch the next phase of the Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) program in the 2017-18 financial year, with a budget of Rs. 2200 crore. This initiative aims to enhance the quality and market relevance of vocational training and strengthen apprenticeship programs using an industry cluster approach. Additionally, a special employment scheme for the leather and footwear industries will be introduced, similar to the one in the textile sector. Five Special Tourism Zones will be established in partnership with states, and the Incredible India 2.0 campaign will be launched globally to boost tourism and employment.
