<h1>India's 2014-15 Trade with BIMSTEC Nations: Major Exports to Sri Lanka & Bangladesh, High Imports from Thailand & Myanmar.</h1> India's trade with BIMSTEC countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, showed significant figures for the financial year 2014-15. Exports to these countries amounted to billions of US dollars, with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh being major export destinations. Imports were notably high from Thailand and Myanmar. The BIMSTEC Framework Agreement, signed in 2004, aims to negotiate a Free Trade Agreement covering goods, services, investment, and economic cooperation. A Trade Negotiating Committee has conducted 20 rounds of negotiations to date. This information was presented by a government official in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
