<h1>SEZs Boost India's Exports: Major Contributions in Engineering, Pharma, and IT from 2011-2014, Says Minister.</h1> The government has been implementing measures to enhance the effectiveness of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Scheme based on stakeholder feedback. From 2011 to 2014, SEZs contributed significantly to the country's exports, with their share ranging from 23.79% to 29.12%. Major exports from SEZs include engineering, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, apparels, gems and jewellery, and IT/ITES services. This data was presented by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry in a written response to the Lok Sabha.
