The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US Dollar is ₹ 62.3685 on April 16, 2015.

The corresponding rate for the previous day (April 15, 2015) was ₹ 62.4026.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate for US Dollar sets official rupee exchange rates for major currencies and determines SDR Rupee conversion basis. The Reserve Bank's published US Dollar reference rate serves as the official rupee quotation and the basis for deriving spot rupee rates for the euro, pound sterling and yen using cross currency middle rates; the SDR Rupee rate is likewise to be calculated on that reference rate.
