The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.62.1266 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.85.4135 on December 13, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (December 12, 2013) were Rs.61.6200 and Rs.84.9820 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rates for the US dollar and the euro are published as daily benchmarks, with the US dollar reference rate and the euro reference rate reported for December 13, 2013 and corresponding prior day rates noted. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and middle cross currency quotes, derived exchange rates for the pound sterling and the Japanese yen against the rupee are provided, and the SDR rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
