The last date for the public at large for giving suggestions/ comments to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs regarding the 3rd and 4th tranche of Draft Rules being framed under the Companies Act, 2013 has been extended to the 10th of this month. In these 2 phases, Draft Rules have been framed on deposits, SFIO, National Financial Regulatory Authority and Investor Educations and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. Earlier the last date was fixed as 5th November 2013.
All the Draft Rules that have been put out for public comments, as also the new Companies Act, are available on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Public consultation deadline extended for draft Companies Act rules on deposits, fraud investigation, regulatory framework and investor protection. Extension of public consultation period for draft rules under the Companies Act, 2013 has been announced, lengthening time for stakeholders to submit suggestions on the 3rd and 4th tranches. The extension covers draft rules on deposit regulation, investigation of serious corporate fraud, a national financial regulatory framework, and investor education and protection authority and fund administration.
