RBI Updates Reference Rates: Dollar at Rs. 61.5030, Euro at Rs. 84.8825; Slight Decrease Noted from Previous Day.

The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs. 61.5030 and for the Euro at Rs. 84.8825 on October 28, 2013. These rates were slightly lower than the previous day's rates of Rs. 61.6250 for the dollar and Rs. 85.1350 for the Euro. Additionally, the exchange rates for the British Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were adjusted to Rs. 99.4934 and Rs. 63.01, respectively, from October 25, 2013. The SDR-Rupee rate will be determined based on this reference rate.
