of The HC directed respondents to conduct an expeditious review of the TRQ allocation policy under the India-UAE CEPA and complete the review preferably within four weeks. The court mandated that the review address petitioners' grievances concerning eligibility and allocation modalities, emphasising that the allocation policy should be made more broad-based to include applicants lacking multi-year substantial turnover yet possessing significant networks and first-time TRQ applicants. The HC permitted respondents, including DGFT, to formulate and introduce additional conditions or criteria to effectuate broader allocation if deemed appropriate. The petitions were disposed of on the basis of the aforesaid directions.
