        The Central Government, exercising powers under section 43(1) of the PMLA, 2002 and consulting the Chief Justice of the Bombay HC at Goa, amended the previous notification to designate the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, North Goa, as a Special Court for the entire State of Goa. This amendment expands the jurisdiction of the designated Special Court under the PMLA to cover all cases within Goa, thereby consolidating trial proceedings related to money laundering offenses under a single judicial forum within the state.
