of The Central Government extended the Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition on Soda Ash imports under HS Codes 28362010, 28362020, and 28362090 for six months from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. The notification was issued under Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, in conjunction with Foreign Trade Policy 2023 provisions. The MIP remains fixed at Rs. 20,108 per metric ton for Disodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) imports. This extension continues the trade protection measure previously implemented through Notification No. 46/2024-25 dated December 30, 2024, maintaining import price controls on these chemical products classified under Chapter 28 of the ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I Import Policy.
