of The Ministry of Finance, u/s 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, issued Notification No. 43/2024-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on 14th June, 2024, amending tariff values for various goods like edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold, and silver. New tariff values per metric tonne were specified for items such as Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, Brass Scrap, Areca Nuts, Gold, and Silver. The notification, effective from 15th June, 2024, substituted previous tables with updated values. This amendment was deemed necessary and expedient by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs.
