(2) General Authorization for Export of Information Security items (GAEIS): This provision applies to Information Security items falling under SCOMET Category 8A5 Part 2, excluding Technology. The export of these items will be regulated by the procedure specified in Para 10.15(II) of the HBP 2023. - The notification states that these amendments grant one-time bulk licenses for the export of Telecommunication-related items and Information Security items under SCOMET Category 8A5.
