Tippers/Dumpers imported under epcg - No imports

AMW Trucks/Tippers procured under indigenous source against  EPCG with Invalidation letter which is  obtained from RA  during 2009 for our Mining establishment instead of appraoching head quarters of New Delhi.  Now JDGFT  had issued a letter asked us to pay the duty with interest referered circular no.48 dated 19.12.2008 issued by the DGFT, New Delhi .  We have fufilled export obligations and already obtained eodc from RA.

Pl clarfiy the same.

If you have not complied the conditions as mentioned in the DGFT's Circular no. 48 dtd.19-12-2008, then, JDGFT can ask you to pay the duty with interest otherwise not.  Please check the conditions of the DGFT's Circular no. 48 dtd.19-12-2008 and act accordingly.  Anyhow, you would have to reply to the notice issued by the JDGFT.
