Supplier Faces Hurdle Over Bond Expiry in CT-3 Material Clearance; Seeks Clarity on Renewal Documentation A customer issued a CT-3 form for material clearance, but their bond expired at the time of clearance. They informed the supplier that they submitted documents for bond renewal, so the supplier dispatched the material. Later, the customer provided a letter confirming the bond renewal, but the supplier's excise range required the validity date on the CT-3 form, signed by the range superintendent. One response suggested that a letter confirming bond renewal should suffice, and advised consulting the Divisional AC/DC for clarification. Another response inquired about the non-tariff notification required when filing an excise return against CT-3. (AI Summary)
