Will declaring high HRA attract chances of getting scrutiny through CASS

Hi,

     I want to know if i declare high HRA , to take the best benifit of HRA extemption,

then would i attract more chance of scrutiny through CASS.

 

Does any one know the parameters that CASS looks for while selecting the cases for scrutiny.

I totally agree with GOPALJI SIR, every year income tax department has certain crieteria for selecting the cases in scruitiny.

Claiming High HRA is not going to affect you regarding chances of selecting your case for scruitiny assessement.
