Dear Freinds,

What will be the documents to be submitted as POE in case export thru courier? Shipping bill is misplaced by courier agency.

In case of Courier Export, we get Two Sets of Documents from Courier.

1. Excise Invoice, Custom Attested Invoice & Packing List, SDF Form and Exchange Control Copy of Shipping Bill

2. Export Promotion Copy of Shipping Bill and Custom ATtested ARE-1 after filing the EGM

 

You may ask the courier agency to take the duplicate copy of SB from Customs. Since you required both the copies of SB

1. EC Copy for Realisation ( to be sumitted to Bank for negotiation )

2. EP Copy as Proof of Export ( or In case if you are availing the export benefits )

In case of any misplace of PoE,

" You may call collateral evidences such as remittance Certificate, mate receipt, etc" for submission & subject to the satisfaction of the authority "

Dear Mangesh, i have also facing same problem. Courier agency is informing us that they are not generating any documents like EP, DEPB, EC. We have evidence only docket of courier and tracking details generated on  web site. Other than this their is no any additional documents. In case of free sample case, we do not get BRC. Is their any alternate source for POE.

There are two types of courier shipments :

 

1. With Customs Clearance - where all the Export Related Documents are generated

2. Without Custom Clearance- in which you wont get any Export Related Documents except the Courier Docket.

 

Please check your shipment type. We think you should ensist on Formal Custom Clearance of the shipment and the shipment should accompany with the ARE-1, Invoice, Packing List.

If the shipment is under bond/LUT, then it is advisable to generate the ARE-1 or else pay the duty and clear the shipment for export.

Also please be noted that the samples are not allowed for duty free export untill you follow the export procedure.
