Eligibility of DFIA post export scheme

We are a manufacturer exporter. Our product covered in under SION Norms. Shall we avail DFIA post export scheme? If not why I am not eligible for that? Kindly advise

You are allowed to import the goods post export under DFIA scheme - refer to chapter V of Foreigh trade policy 2009-14 - para 4.2.2 which is read as, "In case of post export DFIA, a merchant exporter shall be required to mention only name(s) and address(s) of manufacturer(s) of the export product(s). Applicant is required to file application to concerned RA before effecting exports under DFIA."

Thanks for your advise. If that is the case DFIA post export is applicable only for Merchant exporter. Please advise whether my understanding is right.
